Here’s another quick update which I should have finished months ago. Way back when it was warm outside, I ordered myself some glaze chemicals. My largest order to date, in preparation to mix some of my own glazes and do a lot of testing.
Since it’s a pain to try to use those fascinating powders directly from the bag without covering everything in dust I decided to store them in plastic containers.
I got some of those cheap generic food storage containers in a couple different sizes. I labeled them with a good ol’ sharpie.
Now they are easy to stack and store. I have most of them on this shelf:
In the future I hope to get some buckets for the chemicals I use more frequently. These smaller containers work well for smaller batches and glaze tests but don’t hold enough material to efficiently mix a number of large batches of glaze. I’ll store the buckets on my new shelves.
