Cross Country Shirt Designs: 2010

Now that the cross country season is wrapping up it’s time to reflect…Â on the shirt designs.Â I put together a few designs for the West Noble Middle School team as well as the West Noble Invitational.Â Here you can see the finished designs in shirt form:

The WNMS team shirt design was one of a few different ideas.Â I downloaded a font called “electric feel” from dafont.com and it made for an interesting design when it was placed on top of the big WN.Â Done in Illustrator CS4.

I created a few different ideas for the Invite design.Â The arrow design was the one that the Shirt Shack liked best.Â I’ve been working with them to create some of their other shirt designs as well.Â The meet took place on September 18th.Â West Noble did well, probably due to their fantastic team shirts… Adobe Illustrator CS4.

Shirt Designs: Track & Field 2010

The 2010 WN Middle School track team had an amazing season finishing 9-0 in dual meets, champions of the Westview Invitational, and….. LLC Conference Champions!!!!Â I would like to think it was all because of the shirt design….Â Or maybe it was the fantastic coaching staff?Â Okay, in reality we had a really great group of 8th grade athletes to lead the way to an undefeated season.

The boys voted for yellow team shirts but the design looks even better on gray.

Logo Project: Finished

I was recently asked to create a logo for a new company in Nappanee called CHaSE Manufacturing.Â They manufacture doors and other wood items.Â The owners are really nice people and I had a great time working with them.Â Here you can see what we came up with.

As you can see they like the more spontaneous and whimsical marks.Â It was the first project that I created totally with Illustrator.Â I’ve used Freehand before but I thought I might explore Illustrator a bit more and see what it can do.

So now you can look forward to some pictures of a sink or two that I finished last week.Â Whenever I get back to the internet…
